My dog used to bark at night when a neighbor's husky started crying, I bought this collar so I dont have troubles with my other neighbors, I didnt have to use shock mode, I just enabled the sound on 3 and the vibration on 3 also (for medium dogs as the instructions suggested), at first my dog got distracted with the sound, and tried to find where it came from, after some vibrations and barks he understood that he is not supposed to bark at other dogs, now I can sleep at night without waking up because of my dog.

My puppy has separation anxiety and will start crying and barking when I leave. This has actually cut her barking way back. You can hear that she starts a bark but the sound and vibration deter her (it must be those two at the most because after the second attempt at barking I don’t usually hear her anymore, and the collar is designed to escalate with continued barking from sound deterrent to vibration deterrent to shock deterrent). I don’t think the collar has ever had to shock her. And I’ve never heard her yelp with it either. And I can say I haven’t heard these things because I watch her sometimes from my security camera after I leave to see how she acts.

This bark collar is amazing. Worked on the first day. We love pup but his bark is one of those barks that make you jump and scares one of our son's to the point he cries. We have been through two other bark collars and a bark box. So nice to finally have a product that actually works.

I have a Bischon/Maltese mix, who is a barker whenever he goes outdoors. I've tried many interventions to little avail. I've used a collar with a remote but I was only able to activate it after my dog barked. If I was fast enough to press the remote it did stop the barking. However, the corrections were very inconsistent as sometimes I was distracted and did not notice that my pup had gone out the doggie door. I purchased this collar and am pleasantly surprised how well it is working to stop nuisance barking. My dog responded to it immediately as he's startled by the beep.I trust he will continue to respond to the correction. I like that the collar is lightweight, so my dog can wear it during the day without any problem. It is sturdy and easy to activate and a real plus is it is rechargeable. I use the beep and vibration and am glad I don't have to use the shock function to quiet my dog.

We don't need to shock him unless he doesn't want to.I would recommend this product to anyone.
